Topic Brainstorm

 Yoga

Yoga is something I recently wanted to start trying and I figured doing a project over it might help me know more about it. I would want to learn the origins and terminology for yoga practices and maybe even learn more about the different types of yoga. I am not sure how I would incorporate yoga into my project. I think the project for the origin of poses was a good idea so I could possibly do something similar or maybe the different yoga practices.

Love stories 

 My second project idea was love stories! I always have loved romantic stories and last semester I didnt really write any. Some ideas that I thought were pretty interesting was the idea of counseling different couples. I also was thinking of maybe doing counseling for gods if there are any Indian Epics couples. Another Idea is to write just about couples and their love stories. Im sure I will have more creative ideas the more I can spin off topics/stories in my head. This topic has a lot of different ways you can go about it! Rama and Sita seem like an interesting couple!

Epic Women 

one of the other topic ideas I wanted to do last semester is about women! I know that Indian Epics have many women with awesome stories and I am excited to learn more about them!  I had an interesting idea that I could choose a group of women and then assemble them as a super women team and maybe add a story line to it. I could also just center off one women and then make a story line for her as well!

Karma  

My last possible project proposal is karma! I was interested in this because its such a known concept and there is also endless ways you can write, rewrite, or personify karma. I hope to learn in the origins of the concept and the stories that have to do with karma. A possible idea is to personify karma and karma can retell some  of its best stories. I am also interested in writing different stories that are just themed with karma! I feel like there is a lot of possibility for some funny stories.
