The Golden Deer 

Now Maricha and Ravanas plan was to take fruit. Maricha took the form of a deer and set wondered the forest near Ramas hut. He tactically ranged around the forest acting as a innocent creature hoping to capture the eye of Sita.  Maricha form was wonderous, he took the shape of a golden deer with silver spots. The deer was so majestic with horns tipped with saphire and its eyes resembled blue lotus blooms. The wonderous aanimal was grazing in the forest peacefully when it caught the eye of Sita. Sita was wondering out picking flowers when the Marichas trickery worked and she hypnotized Sita with her beautiful deer form. Sita, enchanted by the beauty of the deer, called out to her love Rama.

" Rama! A deer of great beauty is wandering the forest among the grove. Oh dear, I long to rest peacefully on its golden skin. "

 

Rama replied, " oh Lakshamana!  I must grant the wishes of Sitas heart. Please stay with her while i obtain this creature for her." 

So speaking, he grabbed his boy and walked out determined to get the deer for his love, Sita.  


Lakshamana was untrusting of such a beatiful creature that Sita desired.

" I do not feel well about this deer Sita. Sages have spoken of rakshasas assume the form of deer to enchant and lure monarchs deep in the forst by dark artforms.
